Set not thine eyes upon the fleeting dust of earth,
Nor let the passing winds perplex thy steady heart,
For within this hallowed codex of spiritual birth,
A heavenly mantle bids every sorrow to depart.
Behold the regal cross upon the altar laid,
Gilded with grace, enduring through the veil of night,
A lantern steadfast when all mortal glories fade,
Guiding the devout pilgrim unto everlasting light.
May each spoken prayer become an incense pure,
And in the presence of the King, forevermore endure.
